Setting up goose decoys

Imagine if you were a goose... flying around, oh wait, there's some nice looking chicks down there, lets just fly down and say hi, maybe hang out. Next thing you know, you are getting shot at, your buddy falls, and all you wanted was a little tail. Its a mean trick.
