Today's French cooking term of the day... mirepoix.

yuck... cooked carrots. Can't STAND them. Eat them raw all day, but once you put a little temperature to them and I think they are gross.

I don't know how you and Beth find anything to eat together.

I almost bought the pre-packaged mirepoix at Trader Joe's but decided to dice some up myself :)

I actually don't like cooked carrots either....or cook celery.

I thought they were candy from the picture on the front page.

Like sugar pumpkins for tha carrots.

I thought they were candy too but a tasty mirepoix is just as good.
