Vostro 400 with the Core 2 Duo. From what I've read, for desktop applications the Duo at a faster clock rate is better than the Quad. Windows apps are still not threaded yet to take advantage of the multiple processors.

Ordered Sunday, shipped Monday and had it Wednesday.

I like Vista. Thumbnail previews are amazing. Only issues I've had is with legacy software. Would be nice if they added an Always Allow check box when starting up, but if I upgrade one piece of software that should be history.
